Paybilla – Digital Commerce Solution

Overview: Our client asked us to create a digital payment gateway for the services they provide. We built the entire system from scratch: all the way from the portal concept, to wireframes for the user interface and programming a complete and secure payment interface that includes Credit Card, Direct Debit and, also, BITCOIN payments. We also did the branding and the presentation website.

Technologies and architecture: The framework used for the development is CodeIgniter. The production version runs on AWS cloud services. The solution features a full stack secured payment gateway. The transactions are processed through BITPAY and WIRECARD payment frameworks. Also, the project’s frontend is built with responsive design methodology.

Customer Talk – Customer Care Web App

Overview: We built Customer Talk in order to help companies register and solve the complaints submitted by their clients. The platform includes a system where complaints can be added and commented by the employees. After the issue is solved, the entry will be marked as closed and archived. Also, Customer Talk includes a series of insightful reports.

Technologies and architecture: We built Customer Talk on a LAMP server, using PHP and MySQL on the backend and HTML5 on the front-end, along with rapid-development libraries like jQuery, Bootstrap, Modernizr and following best practices in collections like HTML5 Boilerplate, featuring CSS3 animations and modern techniques.

Team Talk – BI Module

Overview: We developed Team Talk as a module of Customer Talk. This platform is designed for the decision makers in a company and it features a real-time commenting system. Also, in order to help prevent issues from reappearing, Team Talk has a Root-Cause Analysis Tool which contains a series of questionnaires about the issue. The answers go into a database that can be accessed later to solve the problem. We also added PDF exports and reports.

Technologies and architecture: Team Talk was built as a module to CustomerTalk and it's based on a LAMP server, uses PHP and MySQL on the backend and HTML5 on the front-end. It is a real-time app, with formatted PDF generation and reports.

StaffTalk - The staff-engaging app

Overview: To create a better corporate culture and motivate employees, we built StaffTalk. The mobile app allows workers to anonymously make suggestions, nominate colleagues to get recognition or even give feedback about their time spent at the office. They key word is implication. Using these three functions, the workers will become more involved in the life of the company.

Technologies and architecture: We programmed the API and database on a LAMP server and used Laravel framework for the backend as well as for the admin interface through which one can see the statistics and manage the application's settings. StaffTalk was built on Titanium with the help of native code for Android and iOS development.

Babele – Business idea testing portal

Overview: The client asked us to build a custom web portal based on the Lean Startup Metodology that could sustain lots of users working collaboratively and their projects. This web portal is meant for entrepreneurs who want to test their business idea before launching it into the real world. On the platform they can communicate with other entrepreneurs and get advice and suggestions on their business plan. The app includes a business plan management system, user profile settings, a comment system, notifications and advanced searches.

Technologies and architecture: The PHP framework used is CodeIgniter. The developed solution features a multi user system. A custom form was build for the management of the business plans. Custom mouse jQuery events were programmed to add/edit the business plans. The data is saved/edited/deleted via cached AJAX calls.

UpYourTime.com – Online Timesheet

Overview: UpYourTime is one of UPDIVISION’s products and is a custom time management tool for hourlies, freelancers and creative agencies. The tool we developed includes timesheets, custom reporting, Excel exports, task timers, check in/check out buttons and employee and manager views.

Technologies and architecture: The PHP framework used is CodeIgniter. Both the development and production stage run on LAMP based servers. The developed solution features a multi-level user system. An Excel-like table view was built for the purpose of data entry. Custom mouse and keyboard jQuery events were programmed to simulate the Excel user experience. The data is saved/edited/deleted via cached AJAX calls.

eHealthPath – Wellness application

Overview: EHP is a wellness application meant for large USA corporate clients and their employees. Companies will enroll their employees to the EHP online cooking lessons platform. The EHP platform is a complex web app that through video lessons, tests, statistics, awards, practical advices and community forums inspires a healthy lifestyle. The application will support hundreds of thousands of users.

Technologies and architecture: The framework used is CodeIgniter, an open-source PHP & MySQL powerful framework with a very small footprint. Both the development and production stage run on LAMP based servers. The developed solution features a multi-layered user system with multiple database connections running at the same time. The project’s frontend is built with responsive design methodology.

oDent.ro – Web App for Dentists

Overview: The challenge was to build a custom schedule and patient management tool for dentists. So, with the help of dentists, we developed a web app that includes an agenda (viewed by month, week or day), a patient list, patient files, payment statuses, a notification system and a supply list.

Technologies and architecture: The PHP framework used is CodeIgniter. Both the development and production stage run on LAMP based servers. The developed solution features a multi user system. A Google Calendar like view was build for the schedule data entry. Custom mouse and keyboard jQuery events were programmed to add the appointments. The data is saved/edited/deleted via cached AJAX calls.

Union – News Portal

Overview: The largest media trust in Moldavia started a big online community portal with news reports, live TV, videos and blogging platform for Romanian users worldwide. A fast and scalable portal meant for large traffic built with a great amount of modules: polls system, comments system, currency exchange, live streaming, user blogging platform, ads system, archive, forum system etc.

Technologies and architecture: An in-house PHP & MySQL CMS was used to program the portal. Both the development and production stage ran on LAMP based servers. The developed solution featured only custom made modules to serve the core functionalities of the website as well as the less important ones, modules such as AJAX based pagination, multiple criteria search system, XML parsers, custom API integrations, virtual subdomain creation etc.

NaviGo Travel

Overview: We created a complex tourism portal from scratch. On a presentation site we implemented multiple modules from different providers. The search is done using an external search engine especially designed for tourism packages (Amadeus). And the data about the users, corporate clients and individual clients is managed by a web service connected to the ERP the company was already using (Aqua). Also, we set up LAMP and Windows servers. In order to make the project coherent and to make our work effective, we also managed the entire project which involved 6 companies. Besides programming and project management, we also did branding for the portal, wrote copy for its pages and did the design.

CRM Tool for RINA Hotels’ AdWords

Overview: The task was to build a custom Client Relationship Management tool for RINA Hotels, with a joint database with its websites for automated client entries, as well as Google AdWords campaigns, and user management, including advanced duplicate detection and removal features. We built the AdWords campaign from scratch, from planning to execution, and we also designed the landing pages in order to maximize conversion rate.

Kogayon – Jewelry eCommerce Website

Overview: We created an eCommerce website for an online jewelry store. We were in charge of creating a site that would best showcase the products (ancient Dacic inspired jewelry) and their uniqueness and that would be very easy to use for the buyers.

Technologies and architecture: The solution offered used Prestashop, an open source e-commerce platform. The integration has numerous functionalities including custom ones made especially for custom promotions, payment integrations, currency, language and location detection. The system is built with PHP and MySQL installed on a LAMP server, also the project’s frontend is built with responsive design methodology.

Hobisti – Leisure Portal

Overview: A Romanian company started an innovative leisure portal based on people’s hobbies. A fast and scalable portal meant for large traffic built with a great amount of modules: polls system, comments system, blog system, ads system, AJAX based search system, forum system etc.

Technologies and architecture: An in-house PHP & MySQL CMS was used to program the portal. The developed solution featured custom made modules to serve the core functionalities of the website as well as the less important ones, modules such as AJAX based search and pagination system, AJAX ads system, custom API integrations, data manipulation for custom charts generation, multi-level user access, Cron jobs for data backup etc. A custom blog was also built using the WordPress platform.

My Green Journey – Sustainable Tourism Portal

Overview: A Thailand based company started a TV show about sustainable tourism. The show would be supported by a great online presence through its website and online community. Creating a fast and easy to use portal that supports a large amount of traffic and a secured messaging system according to Thailand’s strict laws on censorship.

Technologies and architecture: An in-house PHP & MySQL CMS was used to program the portal. Both the development and production stage ran on LAMP based servers. The developed solution featured custom-made modules to serve the core functionalities of the website, modules such as custom menu manger, custom static pages generation, custom blogging system with tree-view like comments system etc.

Oringo – Coupon Site

Overview: Our job was to build an easy-to-use coupon site that gives users the option to request offers themselves. So, we created a secured app and we integrated a mobile payment system and the possibility to pay using cards. Also, all the content of the site is editable as we created a complex management system for the offers and the orders.

Technologies and architecture: It uses a fast light-weight open-source e-commerce solution based on CodeIgniter – a framework we really enjoy working on.

BRCC - The home for UK businesses

Overview: With great new objectives come great new tools. And because the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce wanted to play a larger role in helping UK businesses succeed in the Romanian market, they needed a better online platform to help them do just that. This is where our challenge started. Their activity is based on event planning and networking, so we created an easy-to-use widget with calendar, advanced search and multiple categories. An important part of the modern world is to stay updated as you go, therefore we included the News and Blog sections and made sure that the website adapts to tablets and smartphones by giving it a responsive design.

Technologies and architecture: We built the BRCC site on Wordpress and created custom-made widgets and plug-ins for it, such as the event manager and calendar.

ClueScan

Overview: Had a great time at PizzaHut yesterday? Let the world know with ClueScan. ClueScan is an app that allows you to upload clues about your time spent there such as your mood, what senses were involved and a rating of the place. Besides the user interface, the app comes with a dashboard where companies can see how their clients feel about their business by managing and reading the clues they left.

Technologies and architecture: The app was built on the Laravel framework using MySQL on the back-end, along with HTML5 on the front-end. We also gave it a responsive design.

OLFFI - The platform for your film funding demands

Overview: For producers and their public funding needs, OLFFI has the right answers. The website gathers all the relevant information and, with an account, you have access to every bit of it. Our main task here was to make the content more accessible by Google-indexing it so a big part of the content was left as it was, thus creating dozens of SEO pages. And because we know how important it is to stay constantly updated, we made sure to build the Blog, News and Newsletter sections.

Technologies and architecture: We built the site using the Laravel 4 framework and based on a LAMP server. On the back-end, MySQL and Apache were used while on the front-end we worked with HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery. We made sure it can be viewed on any device by giving it a responsive design.

HEALTHWITZ - Expert medical advice at your fingertips

Overview: Let's face it. The first thing you do when you are ill is to look up symptoms online. There are not many reliable sources and because of that, HealthWitz was created. This online aggregator gathers only relevant heath articles and brings over the information to be Q-rated by an expert before bringing it over to be displayed to you.

Technologies and architecture: For this project, we collaborated with Stone Soup Tech who worked on the API and the AI engine that crawls and summarizes the articles. We were in charge of building the administration of the website and the front-end, for which we used ExpressionEngine, CSS3, HTML5 and jQuery.

Browser-based Call Center for Romega

Overview: Keeping in touch with your clients and offering them support is not an easy task. However, we managed to make things easier for Romega by building a custom browser-based call center for them. Easy-to-use and consuming very little resources, the software offers the company important features such as a client database and detailed call history.

Technologies and architecture: The call center was built on a LAMP server, using MySQL on the back-end and jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3 on the front-end. We worked with the Laravel framework and SIPml to ensure the quality of the voice over.

ExamApp

Overview: How do you make sure you hired the right people? You test them. Our partner knows that, they asked us to build for Cosmote Greece ExamApp, a small online assessment platform. After logging in, the user is taken to a start page before having to go through 25 questions. A fairness rate higher than 80% ensures the candidate a two-years valid certificate from the company.

Technologies and architecture: ExamApp is built on the CodeIgniter framework with MySQL on the back-end and HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery on the front-end.

Libreforme

Overview: Diets never work. And most of the times, it is because you have chosen the wrong one. At Libreforme, you get the possibility to have a consultant design a diet just for you. To do that, you create an account on their site, account which we improved by adding features such as grocery shopping lists, new menus and reminders. Our main task was to make sure you are able to carry your personal weight consultant everywhere you go by offering the site a responsive design.

Atlanta CEO – From CEOs to CEOs

Overview: We created a private network that enables local CEOs to interact with one another. By addressing the top four needs of any CEO – opportunities for personal development, connections to customers, exposure to capital and access to talent – the site offers local CEOs access to their most valuable resource: each other.

Clubrigips – An engaging social platform

Overview: Rigips, the biggest plaster producer in Romania decided to promote their brand even further by building a community around it. A web platform was necessary and we developed it for them. Clubrigips.ro serves as presentation site as well as news portal, while allowing users to create accounts and customize them, as well as invite their friends via email. It also features a fidelity system – codes found on the back of Rigips products can be submitted to the site, turned into points and eventually into prizes.

Technologies and architecture: We built the site on the Laravel 5.1 framework and worked with HTML5 and CSS3 on the frontend, using Bootstrap for responsivity.

Loyalty system solution for Clyde’s Market

Overview: To attract more customers while keeping the old ones interested, Clyde’s Market decided to start a loyalty system, a complex solution that includes integration with POS systems. We offered them a POS-neutral solution. Powerful and flexible, it features a white label OEM model, powering multiple third party solutions and allowing multiple brands to come together in a collaborative market campaign.

Doctor France – Medical services
from France to the world

Overview: To promote medical tourism in France, the company Médicale Compagnie SAS needed a platform that would provide doctor information and ease the access to medical services. And we built it for them. The website connects people from outside of France that need medical care to the doctors and clinics offering their services to patients from abroad. It supports the professionals in the management of their activities and makes it easier for the persons staying temporarily in France to receive medical help.

And because you can never predict when you might need a doctor, the platform is available on all devices in a variety of languages.

Technologies and architecture: Doctor France is built on the Laravel framework, using PHP on the backend, along with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript on the frontend. We made it responsive, so it would work on any mobile device.

Presentation site for the
Customize Your Soundscape project

Overview: We were in charge of programming a presentation site for the HARMAN company. Their main purpose was to promote their Indiegogo campaign and gather more exposure for their Customize your soundscape project. In addition to that, the website is used to collect and export email addresses from the newsletter.

Technologies and architecture: We built the platform on Wordpress and worked with HTML5 and CSS3 to customize it.

GnGForms – better signup forms

Overview: An easier signup process can make the difference between a paying customer and just another visitor. To help their customers get through their complex signup process, Georgia Natural Gas decided to switch to new and shorter forms that can be easily understood. And we built them. There are five different forms and, through click tracking and surveying managed by us, Georgia Natural Gas decides which one is the most effective.

Transport Times – News website and app for drivers

Overview: AIt’s always been hard for drivers to find all the information they need, be it a new transport-related law or insurance costs. UNTRR decided to change that and gather all the information in one place: Transport Times. But first, they needed it built. And that’s where we came in. We designed and programmed the news portal, making sure it matched our client’s expectations. The site features two types of users, the admin – who can write, edit and delete articles and challenges – and the regular users, who create accounts to comment on articles and take part in challenges. It also comes with an integrated ad system that enables the admins to set up ads and monitor their success. But that’s not all there is to it. Besides the web version, it comes in the form of a downloadable app (iOS + Android) so you can take the content everywhere you go.

Driving Times – from brochure to mobile app

Overview: We worked again with UNTRR to adapt their Driving Times brochure into a mobile app for both Android and iOS. The platform is multi-language and features a built-in player for the audio guide as well as the possibility of downloading the files.

Citibank’s Sears – Research platform for buying habits

Overview: It’s important to know the type of your client before you try to make a sale – it increases the chances of success. To find out what the perfect customer behaviour pattern would work best for them, Citibank decided to survey a group of people and see what it takes to turn them into customers. But they needed a platform. We built a site that would simulate the Sears online shop and we also set up and managed click tracking and surveying for accurate results.

Citibank’s Homedepot – Getting to know their customers

Overview: This platform works in the same fashion as Sears. After an entry survey, the visitor is taken to a simulated Home Depot page from where his behaviour and clicks are tracked.

Technologies and architecture: We built the Home Depot site on the Laravel framework and used HTML5, CSS3, Sass and JavaScript for the frontend.

HuntStand – Mapping app for hunters

Overview: Keeping track of their hunting areas is vital for hunters. And because there weren’t really that many apps that could do that, we offered them Hunt Stand. It features two mobile versions, Lite and Pro, both available in Android and iOS. There’s also a web one.

With Hunt Stand, hunters build complex maps of their hunting areas, connect with their fellow hunters and share their hunting area maps. The app offers them elaborate tools for examining and understanding their hunting grounds. On top of that, they can see details on tasks, sightings and harvests and show those off to their friends.

Technologies and architecture: The iOS version of the app is built using Objective-C, while the web version features Python and Bootstrap. We made sure hunters get offline access to weather and maps through automatic map tile caching.

Presentation page for Reveal G4

Overview: The new HIV detection product – Reveal G4 – developed by Medmira needed a presentation page and they gave us the task of programming it.

Overview: We all like discounts. And because we don’t really have time to cut coupons from magazines, it’s time they got an upgrade. With Minus.ro, you have all the discounts in one place. You can save your favorites, share them with your friends and take them everywhere you go, on your laptop, phone or tablet. And if you’re a company, you can add an offer, monitor its status and save your favorite ones as well!

Scandia.ro – Presentation website

Overview: Scandia Food is the leading company in Romania in the canned meats industry. With over 90 years of experience and 4 big brands, Scandia needed a presentation site that would showcase their accomplishments. And we were in charge of programming it.

Technologies and architecture: We built the presentation site on the Wordpress platform and worked with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript on the pixel perfect frontend.

Bayer Shareforshelters – Charity for animal shelters

Overview: When it comes to adopting animals, sharing is caring. Bayer Animal took it a step further and, for each picture that gets uploaded on their site, they offer products to Adopt-a-Pet.com. The users have two methods of uploading: either from their devices or Facebook accounts, either by tweeting or instagramming their photos using a hashtag. Every picture gets added to the collage and the more they are, the more products are donated.

Bayer Thankful4ag – Raising awareness upon farmers’ work

Overview: Bayer gave us another task. This time, they wanted to raise awareness regarding the work of American farmers and promote the Feeding America® program – for each share, one meal was donated to the program.

Presentation site for SoftWear Automation

Overview: SoftWear Automation created a line of robotic sewing machines capable of automatically sewing fabrics. Through the introduction of their products, they boldly push the boundaries of textile manufacturing and they needed a site that would show that. We were in charge of programming it.

Technologies and architecture: We built the site using Wordpress, giving it a responsive design and worked with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript on the frontend.

VideoSurv – Roof measuring made easy

Overview: In the roofing industry, accurate measurement is critical. Vantedgepoint® came up with a solution that would make the whole process a lot easier, by improving job safety, increasing measurement accuracy and offer customers a permanent digital record. And it’s all based on the captures you take with your smartphone, an unmanned aerial vehicle or any other handheld camera. Our main task in this case was to build an API for the communication with the iOS application.

Technologies and architecture: The API was built using the Laravel 4.2 framework and Postman.
