As a Product Manager, you need to have:
- Proven leadership with 5+ years in professional game development services, game direction, or game production roles.
- Strong P&L accountability and a track record of scaling operations.
- Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Financial acumen: experience managing budgets, setting revenue targets, and delivering on financial objectives.
- Game industry knowledge and a passion for game development.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with game development technologies and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace.
- Experience leading remote, distributed teams.
These are nice-to-haves:
- Hands-on experience shipping games or working with game publishers.
- Technical expertise in game development disciplines (programming, UI/UX, art, game design etc.).
This is what you are going to do:
- Leadership & Strategy: Report to the COO, collaborating closely with the CTO on strategic resourcing to define the vision, priorities, and roadmap for the company's Implementation Services business.
- Customer Success & Relationships: Own and manage customer implementation contracts, delivery timelines, and strategic relationships, ensuring trust, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
- Financial Accountability: Drive the profitability of the implementation business, with full P&L responsibility, managing budgets, forecasting, and invoicing to ensure revenue and margin targets are met.
- Operational Scaling: Develop and execute a scalable operational model to manage multiple parallel projects efficiently, including resource allocation, team organization, and process optimization.
- Customer Advocacy: Build a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, translating those insights into actionable strategies that enhance both services and the company's core product.
- Delivery Excellence: Oversee the successful execution of customer projects by attending and running regular customer calls, ensuring timely, high-quality, and profitable delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead a globally distributed team of engineers, designers, project managers, and customer success professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Agile Process Optimization: Champion Agile best practices, ensuring teams deliver impactful results while continuously incorporating customer feedback.
- Strategic Insights: Provide critical insights into customer requirements, product improvements, and emerging opportunities to the executive team.
