Ruby on Rails Developer for Large Scale Projects
[Remote] We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to join our international team. You will be working on one of the leading Direct Marketing Automation Platforms, trusted by sales, marketing and CX teams from Lenovo, Meta and Zendesk.
As a Ruby on Rails developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable code using Ruby. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our client's specifications.

As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you need to have:
- At least 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on Ruby on Rails
- Experience with recent versions of Ruby On Rails (version 5.0 and later)
- Experience in writing automated tests
- Strong problem solving and communication skills. You`re clear, to the point, you love asking the right questions and giving feedback with empathy and respect.
- An owner's mindset. You can work with minimum supervision, meet deadlines and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
- A desire for growth. You are looking to improve your skills and grow as an engineer with every opportunity.
- Good level of spoken and written English
This is nice-to-have:
- Some experience with JavaScript and Python. While Ruby on Rails will be your main focus, a combination of these three technologies would really win our hearts.
- Experience with modern Javascript frameworks such as Vue.js or React. Our client`s UI is built using Vue.js and they have a UI Platform team supporting all teams, which you will be interacting with.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, especially Kafka, or a desire to learn these technologies. We are committed to providing support and resources to help you ramp up.
